Mr. Thomas is an experienced retained search executive and staffing strategist, who has developed and implemented innovative approaches to executive search and staffing for client corporations. He is recognized as an innovator who delivers cost effective and high quality staffing programs and executive search projects for his clients. His experience spans over 20 years of diverse and progressive work as an individual contributor, manager, executive and consultant. Mr. Thomas is currently President of the retained search firm, Trimarc Resources, LLC. Trimarc Resources, LLC conducts retained executive search assignments for its clients on a “deliverable-based” fee structure.
Prior to founding Trimarc Resources in 2001, Mr. Thomas served as the Director of Staffing for AOL/Time Warner at its Silicon Valley campus where he designed, built, and led the staffing function. While there, he was comprehensively responsible for staffing at Netscape, iPlanet, and AOL Properties, and led their integration into Time Warner, after its merger with AOL.
Before joining AOL, Mr. Thomas was the President and CEO of the retained search and project-based staffing firm, IPR/StaffNet. At IPR, Mr. Thomas spent 12 years analyzing, developing, delivering and leading the executive search and staffing needs of dozens of organizations, ranging from start-ups to Fortune 100 companies. While there, he also developed a unique and highly successful “project-based” staffing outsourcing solution. Mr. Thomas also led the integration of the company into Pro-2-Serve, Inc. after its acquisition in 1999.
Mr. Thomas has conducted retained searches for a client list that includes Cisco Systems, International Game Technology (IGT), AOL, Disney Publishing Group, Perot Systems Corporation, The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod (LCMS), Hong Kong International School, MusicMatch (Yahoo! Music), Modern Postcard, Netscape, Raza Foundries, Oracle, Unisys, Lockheed-Martin, Nextel, EDS, MCI, PSINet, SAIC, Freddie Mac, Fannie Mae, GTE, AVHQ, and Sierra Monolithics.
